Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) Syndrome is an inherited cancer predisposition that increases a person's lifetime chance of developing breast, ovarian and other cancers. This means that the cancer risk is passed from generation to generation in a family. There are two genes are associated with HBOC are BRCA1 and BRCA2.
